Part of the Art in a Bottle series, this work transforms the Chanel No. 5 bottle into more than just a symbol of luxury. It becomes a vessel of memory, longing, and desire. The bottles, arranged and layered with bursts of graffiti and pop imagery, reveal the outline of a child a reminder that innocence and hope can still exist inside a world shaped by consumerism and culture. The piece speaks to the tension between what society celebrates as icons of beauty and what individuals carry as symbols of survival. For me, this painting is about holding on to hope, even when it is bottled, branded, and refracted through the lens of pop culture.
